Throat Cancer (including mouth and oropharyngeal, laryngeal, thyroid)

Throat cancer can cover several areas including the mouth, oropharynx, larynx and thyroid. These cancers sometimes have similar symptoms to those of some of the conditions we have discussed here including oesophageal cancer.

If you are experiencing any of the symptoms we have mentioned in our pages or anything at all which is unusual for you, please get in contact with your GP.  You must be clear and concise about what you have been experiencing, for how long, the severity and the impact to your daily life.  With this information, your GP can make a clear assessment on what diagnosis to give and tests/treatment you may need.
