Other Support Groups

Heartburn Cancer UK currently have four affiliated support groups, two are based in London, one in Basingstoke and one in Cambridge.

Below are the details of some groups that are not associated with HCUK directly but may be of interest to you.

Guildford OG Cancer Support Patient Group

This group is run, with the support of the Royal Surrey County Hospital, by Dave Chuter.  Dave is a oesophageal cancer survivor, following an oesphagectomy over 16 years ago.

The group meet monthly basis,  alternating virtual and face to face meetings at the Conference Centre, Holiday Inn Hotel, Guildford. The meetings are informal and provide those attending with the opportunity to meet and chat with others in a similar situation.  Where possible members of the team at Royal Surrey County Hospital are on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Full information, including dates, can be found here.
