We absolutely love to be share good news and in the last few weeks we have had such a great buzz in our team because of our wonderful fundraisers and the extraordinary lengths they have gone to in training, fundraising and in some instances, organising their own events to raise funds and awareness.

We have had runners in The Palace Half at Hampton Court, The Scottish Half, The London Marathon (both on the streets of London and virtually), The Royal Parks Half, The Manchester Marathon and this weekend coming, The Western Super Half and the Bedford Autodrome 10K.  We had a group of 50 people walk 15 miles to raise awareness on the coast in Northumberland and another group organise a charity golf day.

Each of these people has their own, often very personal and sometimes painful reason to support our work and it astounds and humbles us as a team to hear about their stories and their desire to help.

None of the work we do in raising awareness of the symptoms associated with Barrett’s oesophagus and oesophageal cancer or in supporting early diagnosis would be possible without the generosity of people like this so we wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you so very much.

If you feel inspired by these awesome pictures and would like to get involved why not have a browse of our events listings and choose a challenge that suits you - there really is something there for everybody - running is not compulsory!
