NOGCA 2022 Annual Report The aim of the National Oesophago-Gastric Cancer Audit (NOGCA) is to measure the quality and outcomes of care for patients diagnosed for the first time with oesopahageal or gastric cancer in NHS hospitals in England and Wales, and so support OG cancer units in the UK to improve the quality of the care received by patients. Since 2012 the audit has also included patients with high grade dysplasia (HGD). In this news article we share the 14th Annual National Oesophago-Gastric Cancer Audit (NOGCA) report. The report focuses on the care received by patients diagnosed with oesophago-gastric cancer between April 2019 and March 2021 in England and Wales, and the outcomes of treatment. It also evaluates the care pathway followed by patients diagnosed with oesophageal high grade dysplasia in England.
