A short survey that could help change lives Are you a UK patient or a carer of someone who has been diagnosed with oesophageal (gullet) or gastric (stomach) cancer? Or do you have an interest in these cancers, including as a UK healthcare professional with experience of looking after patients with oesophageal or gastric cancer? This is an opportunity for to have your say on which aspects of the care received by patients with oesophageal or gastric cancers would most benefit from research? Or which most matter to you and your experience of these cancers? With a number of other patient and healthcare professional groups from across the UK, the National Cancer Research Institute’s Oesophagogastric Research Subgroup has recently set up a project to define research priorities for the care of patients with oesophageal and gastric cancer. This link will take you to the survey, where you can share you views and help shape the future of research into these cancers, ultimately making a difference to the lives of those living with oesophagogastric cancers.
