Meet Sarah - our Dietitian in Residence

I am a Dietitian working within the NHS and have been specialising in supporting patients with oesophageal and stomach cancer since 2015. I am fortunate to be able to help support patients from the point of diagnosis, throughout oncological treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and following surgery.

I have recently completed a Masters’ degree in clinical and health research and hope to undertake more research in the future with the aim to improving nutritional outcomes for patients with oesophageal cancer.

I am looking forward to working with Heartburn Cancer UK to help develop dietary information and resources for people living with persistent heartburn, Barrett’s oesophagus or oesophageal cancer. Outside of work I enjoy cooking, particularly baking, sport and travelling when I can!
