The Cardiff University Cardiff Half Marathon has grown into one of the largest and most exciting road races in the United Kingdom.  It is now one of Europe’s largest half marathons and is Wales’ largest mass participation and multi-charity fundraising event.

The event has grown significantly since it was founded in 2003 when 1,500 runners took part. It now attracts a mass race field of over 27,500 registered runners alongside world-class athletes in men’s, women’s and wheelchair elite races.

The flat, fast course makes this event equally as great for a first half marathon or for an experienced runner looking for a PB.  It passes all of the city’s most breath-taking scenery and iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, Civic Centre and stunning Cardiff Bay.  Thousands of spectators turn out to cheer on the runners in a city renowned for its sporting passion and now you can be there!  Your place to run in this iconic event and to support the vital work of Heartburn Cancer UK will be secured for just a £20 registration fee (this is non-refundable) and a pledge to raise at least £300. 

In return for your support we will provide you with one of our HCUK running tops as well as lots of encouragement and all the hints and tips you could need to meet your fundraising target.
