Tobias Walks

19 year old Tobias is walking from Lands End to John O'Groats to raise money for Heartburn Cancer UK and also the Severn Hospice. He has chosen to support us both as two of his dear friends have lost their fathers to illness in recent years.

Tobias is completing this challenge alone and with the added weight of a backpack full of overnight camping gear. He is an inspiration to us at the charity and we are so impressed with how he has been powering through the miles.

Persistent heartburn

LINACRE Trial

The Oxford Clinical Trials Unit are applying for funding for an exciting new clinical trial for patients with Barrett’s Oesophagus. Recruited patients will be randomly selected to either continue with life long medication or have a device, called a LINX, fitted at the base of the oesophagus to reduce the symptoms associated with Barrett's.
